Once installed your ADT security system connects you to their Alarm Receiving Centre via your telephone line. On activation they will call on the emergency support you require from the Police, Fire Brigade, or your designated key holders.

Galaxy Control Panels A variety of control panels are available, capable of securing all sizes and types of building and feature:-

  • Easy initial installation with provision for future expansion.

  • Provision for up to 32 independent systems from one control panel, which is ideal for multi-tenant premises where each occupier needs to control their own security system

  • Capable of covering 8 to 504 sectors and 6 to 256 programmable outputs

  • Remote control for engineering service and a 250 to 1000 event log, to maintain the system history for future reference.

  • PC based event monitoring and logging system.

Galaxy Keypads Have a liquid crystal display with English language text descriptions and display all the user and engineer controls for easy operation. Clear menu-driven procedures lead the user through the facilities available, by using the keypad or proximity card functions.

A Full Range of Detectors

  • Passive Infra Red detectors (PIR), with a selection of spans to encompass full coverage of sectors of any size.

  • The detectors are unaffected by draughts, insects and white light and are fully protected against RF interference; plus mirror optics to guarantee consistent detection.

  • Feature intelligent signal processing to prevent false alarms.

  • Dual technology detectors, using a combination of PIR and microwave, anti-mask detection or ultrasonic technology. Shock, break glass and beam detectors are also available

Contacts A range of door, window and surface contacts are available, including heavy duty and high security contacts for specialist applications.

Sirens Internal and external sirens are suppled including a strobe light if required.

Should you decide to have a smoke or fire detector linked to your alarm system, the ADT version is designed to operate even if your system isn't set.
