BSIA...Ensures That It's Members Provide
The Highest Standards of Service.

The British Security Industry Association (BSIA) Is the professional trade association for the security industry in the UK. Its purpose is to ensure that it's members provide the highest possible standard of products and service to their customers and achieve success in an ever-changing and very competitive business.

The BSIA UK Members supply more than 70% of security business in the UK, which includes alarm manufacture, distribution and installation, CCTV, physical security, access control, manned security, information destruction and cash-in-transit.

One of the BSIA’s prime concerns, is the continuity of high standards within the industry and it often produces codes of practice, which it then submits for consideration as British Standards. It actively promotes the proper training of security industry staff, which results in gaining the confidence of consumers.

The BSIA distributes information to its members, the general public and users of security products and services, to raise awareness of matters relating to security and crime. It also liaises with central agencies such as the Home Office, Association of British Insurers and the Association of Chief Police Officers.
