The Mortice Lock System…London Line, Aims To Provide The Ultimate In Secure Locking Systems.

Latest Mortice Lock Systems People are more concerned about securing their homes than ever before, leading to an increased demand for reliable quality locking systems:-

The London Line – Night Latch and Hook Bolt Mortice Lock System. The leading security manufacturer, Ingersoll (part of the Chubb Locks division of ASSA ABLOY UK), have produced a new high-end range of locks called London Line, which aims to provide the ultimate in easy access locking systems and to fully satisfy the requirements of BS3621: 2004 AND BS8300:2002 for safety and access compliance, when fitted with a cylinder from the Mul-T-Lock range.

The new London Line – Night Latch and Hook Bolt Mortice Lock Systems use the Mul-T-Lock interactive cylinder system*, incorporating a high precision moving insert, which interacts with a spring loaded pin in the cylinder plug to produce a “virtual combination”.

Both products incorporate a number of features, which makes them force-resistant and robust, as well as being produced in a range of finishes to ensure they look good in any doorframe.

The London Line Night Latch meets the requirements of BS3621:2004 and provides a cylinder system mounted through the door. It features slam auto-deadlocking, 20mm bolt throw, a safety kick off feature and is available in chrome or titanium brass finish, both of which are ant-tarnish and anti-scratch.

As well as being robust, the nightlatch has a stylish escutcheon, making it ideal for those who value high security and an attractive finish.

The New Hook Bolt Mortice Lock System also meets the requirements of BS3621:2004 and is an ideal way to re-enforce door locks, as it hooks into the door frame, thus preventing the door being pulled up or out.

It also features a fully enclosed drill resistant tamper proof case, with a 20mm single throw drill resistant hook bolt and is supplied with a Mul-T-Lock interactive Euro profile double cylinder. It also has anti-jemmy attack properties due to the boxed locking plate.

Designed to complement each other, these locking systems provide a versatile, high security locking solution when used together. The Hook Bolt ensures that should any jemmy attack be attempted, the lower part of the door cannot be forced to gain access.

The new lock cases are also easy to install, as spikes on the back of the case assist the installer in marking out drilling positions, whilst the unique round ended case completely removes the need to chisel out a square ended mortice.

The product is easily upgraded by means of an easy-fit micro switch, which is available separately for both locks, enabling the lock to be converted for use with an alarm system and activated by the final exit door.

The locks also take into account the requirements of the new Disability and Discrimination Act.

For added security, all London Line products are supplied with a key card registration, so that coupled with the unique key design, the system provides increased control over key blanks for legitimate dealers, as well as preventing unauthorised cutting. * Multi Point Locks…Mul-T-Lock’s New Break Secure Cylinder Increases Security Of Euro Profile Cylinder Locks.
